Bitumen vapour barrier
MULTIPLEX AGG 4 with aluminium and fibre glass reinforcement is a bitumen torch-on membrane. It is a superior membrane with a high vapour diffusion resistance (DIN 4108).
Because of its thickness (4 mm) and the additional reinforcement it is resistant against tearing and perforation. As an effective protection of the metallic reinforcement against corrosion and also to harden it, reinforced fibre glass reinforcement is concealed underneath the aluminium tape. Because of these properties MULTIPLEX AGG 4 can be used as an “Emergency covering” (i.e. provisional sealing), that can be used as a fully functional layer afterwards.
